The director of one of the schools in the Nevsky district extorted money from teachers so that they could have good working conditions. Some of the other employees of the institution turned out to be fictitious. About it FAN said the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Vyacheslav Stepchenko.

The management of the educational institution demanded money from the teachers. In return, they were promised favorable working conditions and increased bonuses. Only in December last year, several employees sent 202 thousand rubles. Among them was one fictitious.

A criminal case has been initiated against the director and two of his deputies. They are accused of taking bribes on an especially large scale. Investigators conducted searches. The police are investigating what happened.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, a criminal case was opened against the organizers of rooftop tours. They were accused of illegal business activities.
