In Spain, Ukrainians engaged in extortion from recently arrived compatriots


    The national police of Spain detained a criminal group, which consisted of people from Ukraine.

    The attackers were engaged in extortion from their own compatriots. This is stated in a press release from law enforcement agencies of the country.

    According to official information, four people were detained who “used disproportionate violence to commit robberies.” The investigation began in May, when the police learned about the robbery of three Ukrainian citizens who had recently moved to Spain. All suspects are currently in custody awaiting trial.
