In Sevastopol, a high level of terrorist threat has been introduced indefinitely

The action of the high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger in Sevastopol has been extended indefinitely since February 10. This was reported on the website of the city government.

The authorities of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation note that such a decision was made on the basis of data from law enforcement agencies about the continuing threat of terrorist attacks and in connection with the need to counter them.

As Parlamentskaya Gazeta wrote, the right to introduce an indefinitely high level of terrorist threat was granted to the regions by President Vladimir Putin by his decree. By the same decree, it is allowed to inspect cars in regions where such a regime operates.
