Member of the Public Chamber, Dean of the HSE Faculty of Law Vadim Vinogradov said that from May 1, only Russian Post Joint-Stock Company will make cash pension payments.
Until May 1, money could be received in person at Russian Post offices, to a bank account or at the cash desks of banking organizations. Also, pensioners received a pension at home through the postman.
“Thus, pensioners still have several options for receiving payments: to a bank account, at the post office or at home,” said an expert in conversation with Prime agency.
At the cash desks of credit organizations, that is, in banks, it will no longer be possible to receive a pension.
This was done in order to remove unscrupulous participants from the process who allowed delays in payments.
Earlier it was reported that the Russians consider worthy a pension of 47 thousand rubles a month.
