In Shadrinsk, Kurgan Region, due to frost, parents whose children study in the first shift are advised to refrain from full-time education. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
“Due to low air temperatures, today, December 8, the city education department recommends that parents of students in grades 1 through 11 of the first shift refrain from in-person learning. Use a different lesson format accepted by the school,” said the mayor’s office group on the VKontakte social network.
Earlier, amateur weather forecaster Ilya Vinshtein predicted abnormally cold weather in the Kurgan region. The peak of frost is expected from December 7 to 12, and the frost itself will last until December 16. During the day the temperature is predicted to be -23 – -27 degrees, and at night from -33 to -37 degrees.
