The body of the Soviet satirist Viktor Konyakhin was found in his apartment in the Tagansky district of Moscow. Regnum.
According to the newspaper, on May 24, residents of one of the houses in Bolshoi Rogozhsky Lane turned to the police, who felt an unpleasant smell from a neighboring apartment. When the door was opened, the body of an 81-year-old writer was found inside with no signs of life. It lay there for about four days. The cause of Konyakhin’s death will be established by a forensic medical examination.
Viktor Ivanovich Konyakhin was born on February 18, 1942 in Makeevka. He was a member of the Union of Writers, and was also a member of the trade union committee of writers at the publishing house “Soviet Writer”. Konyakhin also worked as an editor in such newspapers as Ostroyak and Moskovsky Krokodil, during his career the author published more than 20 books, including for children.
