In the Kurgan shopping center “HyperCity” on the afternoon of September 30, an urgent evacuation of visitors and staff was carried out. Eyewitnesses reported that the fire alarm in the building went off.

“The fire alarm went off in the Hyper City shopping center. All visitors were evacuated,” reported subscribers of the Kurganistan telegram channel.

The press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region explained to URA.RU that the signal was received by the dispatchers at 11:30. Rescuers who arrived at the scene checked the premises but found no fire or smoke. In total, about 200 people were evacuated from the shopping center. This fact is being investigated. The center is now operating as usual.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote about the evacuation of the Pushkinsky shopping center in Kurgan. And the city administration clarified that then a false report was received about the building being mined.
