In Kosovo, they reported an attack on a police patrol from Serbia


    The Kosovo police have reported an attack by Serbia on one of their patrols near the town of Zubin Potok. Kosovo police report leads Reuters. It follows from it that the attack occurred at the moment when the police lowered the boat into Lake Gazivoda in order to cross the Serbian-Kosovo border on it. 10 shots were fired. No harm done.

    The authorities of Kosovo have decided from August 1 to replace the car numbers and personal documents of the inhabitants of the northern part of the Kosovo Republic, issued in Serbia. After that, the Serbs living in the north of Kosovo began to build barricades and block roads. The NATO mission in Kosovo said it was ready to intervene in the situation. As a result, the Kosovo authorities have postponed the ban on Serbian documents until 1 September.

    On August 6, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, invited Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to hold talks in Brussels.
