“The accident occurred today at 14:00 local time. It was previously established that the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta at the 68th kilometer of the Ugra highway lost control and drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Hyundai bus with 25 people inside, including the driver,” the report says.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and one of his two passengers died. “The second passenger of the foreign car, as well as the bus driver, were injured,” the report noted. Police are establishing the circumstances of the incident at the scene.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that in Kogalym, a passenger in a GAZ car died when it tore down a fence and flew into a ditch. The driver lost control due to the weather.
