The Pyt-Yakh administration came up with a scheme that would allow his team to remain in place if the mayor resigned. A source in the district political beau monde told a URA.RU correspondent that the vice-mayor of Pyt-Yakh, Evgeny Belous, suddenly decided to leave the post of curator of housing and communal services and return to the municipal property department. A significant demotion will help him remain in the administration even if the current head, Alexander Morozov, does not go to the polls.
“Belous suddenly decided to leave the post of curator of housing and communal services and return to the management of municipal property. Thanks to the rotation, Belous will retain part of his salary and municipal experience and will not fall under the “new broom.” It is noteworthy that for this reshuffle, the daughter-in-law of the vice-speaker of the City Duma, Natalya Zaitseva, had to be removed from the post of head of the UMI,” the insider reports. Morozov’s term of office expires on November 14.
On the website of the Pyt-Yakh administration there is no column “director of the municipal property department”, but there is his deputy. Natalya Yadkarovna Zaitseva is listed at the mayor’s office as the chief specialist of the property relations department. The mayor of the city, Alexander Morozov, did not answer the agency’s correspondent’s question.
It was not possible to contact Zaitseva using the number provided by the agency. The interlocutor answered the journalist that he had the wrong number. Belous picked up the phone, but declined to comment, mentioning that “resignation is a loud word; the first leader usually resigns.”
An official request has been sent to the press service of the mayor’s office. A response is awaited.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that a Varangian was tipped for the post of head of Pyt-Yakh. This will help get rid of clannishness in the administration.
