In Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, managers responsible for the supply of water and heat will be convicted of corruption

In Nefteyugansk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug), two managers working in an organization from the fuel and energy sector are suspected of commercial bribery. This was reported to URA.RU in the press service Ministry of Internal Affairs for Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Men received bribes from a legal entity, earning almost six million rubles on this.

“In Nefteyugansk the criminal activity of two employees of the heat and water supply department of an organization in the fuel and energy sector, suspected of committing commercial bribery, was stopped. The suspects, who perform managerial functions, entered into a conspiracy to illegally receive money and property from a legal entity, for concluding an agreement with it and unhindered acceptance of work on it, ”the security department told URA.RU.

In a few months, two men were able to illegally earn at least 5.8 million rubles. They received almost 1.6 million in cash, they were also given a car, whose value was estimated at almost 4 million rubles. The defendants were caught at the moment of transferring another bribe – 200,000.

The detainees were interrogated and released on bail. According to the sane article, they face up to 12 years in prison.
