It is noted that the temporary name change was undertaken in connection with the anniversary of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. An art event is planned for February 27 in the cafe, the organizers of which insisted on renaming the institution.
The original signboard with the historical name of the cafe was tightly covered with a black banner with the inscription “Kyiv”. As the organizers of the art event explained, master classes, discussions, exhibitions and other events dedicated to “Freedom, Europe and Security” will be held here.
It is specified that the Moskva cafe got its name for historical reasons, but today it has nothing to do with Russia.
