The city of Shebekino, Belgorod Region, came under fire, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. The shell fell between two apartment buildings. According to preliminary information, no one was hurt.
“Windows, balconies and facades of both houses were damaged. Six cars were also hit,” wrote Mr. Gladkov in Telegram.
In the Belgorod region the day before, on May 8, Valuysky, Grayvoronsky and Shebekinsky urban districts were shelled. Five people received minor injuries. Due to the intensity of shelling in the regions bordering Ukraine, all festive events dedicated to Victory Day in Belgorod have been cancelled.
