Lenovo Glasses T1 display glasses are the latest addition to the company’s product lineup. The glasses come with a built-in display that is capable of displaying images in high-definition.
The glasses are also equipped with a digital voice recorder and a digital camera. The glasses are designed to provide users with a better viewing experience when using devices that are equipped with a display.
Two built-in microLED screens allow you to watch content on the go.
The displays of the new glasses boast a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. In addition to them, the device has built-in speakers. The novelty was shown as part of the international technology conference IFA in Berlin.
According to the manufacturer, Lenovo Glasses T1 can be worn with lenses. Convenience is provided by interchangeable nose clips and the ability to adjust the temples.
The gadget does not claim to be an AR device but rather acts as an additional display for computers and smartphones running on different operating systems – from Windows to iOS. The connection uses USB-C or Lightning in the case of the iPhone.
The device will start selling in China at the end of the year. In other markets, glasses should not wait until 2023. The exact price hasn’t been revealed yet, but according to Tom’s Guide, Lenovo is promising to keep the price below $500 at launch.
