However, compared to January 2023, there was a degrowth of 6.20% last month. Hyundai sold 50,106 units in January. Means 3105 units of Hyundai were sold less.
In February 2022, Hyundai exported 9,109 units, which increased to 10,850 units in February 2023. It is clear from this figure that the demand for Hyundai cars has increased outside the country as well. Thus, the company sold a total of 57,851 units in domestic and exports. Whereas in February 2022 the figure was 53,159 units.

New Alcazar Launched
Hyundai has introduced a new engine to power its three-line SUV Alcazar. The company has opened bookings for the 1.5-litre turbo variant at a token amount of Rs 25,000. The price of the new variant is expected to be around Rs 18 lakh. With the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit, the Hyundai Alcazar also follows the new RDE norms. Along with this, it will also run on E20 fuel (20% ethanol with petrol). Hyundai may replace this engine with the 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit used by Korean company Kia in the Carens.
