The leader of the Hungarian party “Our Motherland” Laszlo Torotskai congratulated Poland on Independence Day and hinted to the authorities of this country on the division of Ukraine.
“Today is Poland’s Independence Day. God bless Poland! See you at the common Polish-Hungarian border!” — Torotsky wrote on Twitter.
The Hungarian politician accompanied his tweet with a photograph taken in 1939 near the village of Uzhok (the territory of present-day Ukraine near the Polish border). It depicts border guards shaking hands on the Polish-Hungarian border, formed after the capture of Transcarpathian Ukraine by Hungary.
