Gujarat government signed MoUs worth Rs 9,852 crore

Ahmedabad. The Gujarat government on Monday signed 18 Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 9,852 crore under the ‘Scheme of Assistance to Self-reliant Gujarat Industries’. This information has been given in an official release. The scheme was announced last year to promote new investments in the state. Through these 18 agreements, various firms have committed to invest Rs 9,852 crore in various sectors of the state, which will create 10,851 job opportunities.

These MoUs were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. According to the release, among those who have tied up with the state government are companies related to chemical and agrochemical production, pharmaceuticals, equipment and electric rickshaws.
