21-year-old Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg was detained in Denmark during an anti-Israel demonstration in Copenhagen.
Thunberg, along with activists from the “Students Against Occupation” movement, entered the Copenhagen University Museum and demanded that the university cease its collaboration with Israeli educational institutions, according to Ekstra Bladet.
Thunberg was taken to the Bellahøj police station but has since been released.
This isn’t the first time Thunberg has been detained for her activism. In May, she participated in a rally in support of Palestine in Malmö, Sweden, where she was also briefly detained by police.
