The wife of Chelyabinsk Region Governor Alexei Teksler, Irina, took part in the “Games of the Brave.” This sporting event is dedicated to children who managed to overcome cancer.
“For many years now I have been taking part in the “Games of the Brave” – in this good and unique celebration of sports, kindness and courage. Children who have overcome cancer or continue to fight the disease come here,” Irina Teksler wrote on her VKontakte page.
Children participated in the games together with their parents and friends. The guys competed on an obstacle course and took part in master classes.
“More than 500 such winners gathered today. “Games of the Brave” gives children the opportunity to get positive emotions, test their strength and stamina on an obstacle course, and show everyone what they are capable of,” Texler noted.
Earlier, the governor’s wife spoke about the construction of the second children’s philharmonic in Chelyabinsk. The new building will also house large rehearsal classrooms and choreography rooms.
