Google will delete accounts that have not been used for two years

Company Vice President Ruth Cricheli stated that this decision will only affect personal user accounts. This follows from a message published on the official Google website.

Kricheli explained that the policy would only affect inactive accounts. If the user has not logged into the account for at least two years, then the company can delete the profile and all its contents.

According to the organization, the accounts of schools and other organizations are not affected by these policy changes. Inactive accounts will begin to be deleted from December 2023, before which a notification will be sent to the owners.

Earlier it became known that Google developers will implement artificial intelligence bots on the site. Thus, the organization wants to focus on the interests of young people around the world.
