World continues to criticize Donald Trump’s proposal to displace Palestinians and take control of Gaza. Even U.S. allies like UK, France, and Spain oppose it calling it an attack on Palestinian rights and a major obstacle to a two-state solution.

China, Russia, Iran, and Turkey strongly condemned Trump’s plan. UK’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer reaffirmed support for a two-state solution stating that Palestinians must be allowed to return home. UK Foreign Minister David Lammy stressed the need for Palestinians to live safely in Gaza and West Bank with development opportunities.

France rejected Trump’s proposal calling it a violation of international law. Spain also criticized it affirming that Gaza part of a future Palestinian state which Spain supports. Country emphasized the need for Israel and Gaza to coexist peacefully.
China urged all sides to seize the opportunity for ceasefire and political resolution based on two-state solution. Russia’s Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, stated that resolving the Middle East crisis is only possible through a two-state solution.
Amnesty International denounced Trump’s comments labeling them reckless and dangerous. The organization even described the forced displacement of Palestinians as a war crime.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended Trump claiming. He only wants to clear the rubble in Gaza which would require temporarily relocating people. He insisted Trump did not mean to take extreme measures. White House also clarified that Trump has not committed to sending U.S. troops to seize Gaza.
