Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that he had informed President Vladimir Putin about the situation in the region, which comes under daily shelling by the Ukrainian military.
On Wednesday, May 31, Gladkov planned to start a live broadcast with residents at 19:00, but it started half an hour later.
“Today, the live broadcast was delayed for half an hour. I reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the current situation,” the governor said on May 31 during a live broadcast on social networks.
The day before, Gladkov said that the armed forces of Ukraine fired at a temporary accommodation center for residents of rural municipalities of the Shebekinsky district, as a result of which one person was killed and two more were injured.
At the same time, on Monday, May 29, in the Belgorod region, more than 200 hits of shells fired by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recorded, of which 155 fell on the Shebekinsky urban district.
