Gladkov reported one dead and two wounded as a result of shelling of a temporary accommodation center

Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that during today’s Ukrainian shelling of a temporary accommodation center (TAP) of residents of border settlements, one person was killed and two were injured. According to him, the shelling was carried out with the help of cannon artillery.

The deceased is a TAP security guard. Two of the wounded are in critical condition, the governor said. “One man with penetrating wounds of the abdominal cavity, the second with penetrating wounds of the chest. They were operated on, all the necessary medical care is being provided,” Mr. Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

The governor said that three direct hits fell on the residential and administrative building of the sanatorium, where the TAP was located, as well as on the territory of the checkpoint. As a result, the roof of the building was pierced, window openings and glass were broken.

Vyacheslav Gladkov clarified that there were residents of Sereda (a village in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region) in the TAP that came under fire. They were evacuated over a year ago. After the start of the special military operation, the village was regularly shelled.
