Gladkov reported five injured as a result of the night shelling of Shebekino

As a result of the shelling of Shebekino on the night of June 1, five people were injured, said the head of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov. According to him, the center and outskirts of the city were fired from the “Grad” from the direction of Ukraine around 12 at night, at 03:40 and 05:15.

One of the victims is a police officer, he received an open fracture of the humerus. Another victim – a bridge guard in the city, what kind of injuries he received – is not specified. Two women received shrapnel wounds. “Now we have received information about a man who is unconscious with multiple shrapnel wounds. The ambulance takes him to the hospital,” Mr. Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel. Three of the wounded were hospitalized, he added.

Also, one shell hit a private residential building, as a result, a fire started. Another shell hit one of the administrative buildings, its roof caught fire. Vyacheslav Gladkov added that the authorities received reports of damage to windows, balconies and walls.

Mr. Gladkov noted that information about collection points for urgent evacuation of residents of the Shebekinsky district is not true. “At the moment it is impossible and unsafe to massively gather people at a particular point,” he said.

Earlier, Vyacheslav Gladkov already reported on the night shelling of Shebekino. Then he wrote about two injured men. Due to constant shelling, children will be taken out of the Shebekinsky and Graivoronsky districts of the Belgorod region: on May 31, 300 children were sent to Voronezh.
