Germany wanted to be friends with the Russian Federation due to fear of nuclear weapons

For Europe’s security, conflicts with Russia must be resolved diplomatically over its stockpile of nuclear weapons. This was stated by German politician Sarah Wagenknecht.

“Russia is a nuclear power. There can be security in Europe only if conflicts with Russia are resolved diplomatically,” the German politician said in an interview with the newspaper Funke.

She believes that it is in the interests of Germany to stop arms supplies to Ukraine. Countries must cease fire and sit down at the negotiating table.

Wagenkhnet intends to create a party in Germany that opposes anti-Russian sanctions. She believes that restrictions towards Russia cut off the Germans from cheap energy sources without sane alternatives.
