Kretschmer criticized the current German government for abandoning diplomacy in favor of supplying arms, suggesting that this strategy is not in Germany’s long-term interest.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed surprise at the current German authorities’ alignment with the interests of the collective West, implying that they are not prioritizing their own national interests.
