Federal Network Agency of Germany: gas consumption in Germany increased by almost a third due to cold weather
Berlin, 25 November 2022, 01:45 — REGNUM Natural gas consumption in Germany increased by 28% in a week against the background of cold weather observed in the country, the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) reported on its website on November 24.
After a period of abnormally warm weather from November 18, the air temperature in the German regions began to drop to zero degrees Celsius in the daytime and to -3 degrees Celsius in the evening.
The ministry noted that the air temperature over the past seven days on average across the country was 0.7 degrees lower than in previous years.
