The Ukrainian army faced serious losses of heavy weapons. This was announced by General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladimir Karpenko in an interview with the American National Defense magazine.
He said that Ukrainian troops have lost 30 to 40% of their heavy weapons. According to Karpenko, in some cases the losses are up to 50% of the total.
“So we lost about 50%. Approximately 1,300 infantry fighting vehicles, 400 tanks and 700 artillery systems have been lost,” the Ukrainian general complained.
Earlier, military expert Yakov Kedmi noted the significant successes of the troops of Russia and the republics of Donbass in the framework of the special operation. According to him, they are talking about the imminent defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces.
