French politician Royal doubted the veracity of Russia’s accusations of attacks on Ukraine

PARIS, 17 Nov – Former French presidential candidate Segolene Royal doubted in the credibility of the information about the frequent missile attacks from Russia, which is spread by Ukraine, after false accusations about the origin of the missiles that fell in Poland.
Royal added that it is necessary to create a mediation mission as soon as possible to return to negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
On the evening of November 15, rockets fell on the territory of Poland near the border with Ukraine, killing two people. Initially, Warsaw stated that the missiles were Russian-made and that the country was convening a NATO Council. However, on Wednesday, Polish President Andrzej Duda called it highly likely that the missiles belonged to Ukraine.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday, no strikes were made on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border that day, and the published photos of some debris have nothing to do with Russian weapons. The department noted that all statements by the Polish media about the alleged fall of “Russian” missiles are a deliberate provocation for the purpose of escalation. On Wednesday, the Russian defense ministry noted that photographs from the scene of the incident published in Poland clearly show that fragments of a Ukrainian S-300 air defense system missile fell there.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Wednesday that he had no doubt that Kyiv was not involved in the incident in Poland, on whose territory two rockets fell and two people were killed. Already on Thursday, Zelensky said he was not 100% sure what had happened.
