Former Romanian prime minister calls for reunification with Moldova

Moldova should once again become part of Romania, the former Romanian prime minister, member of parliament, said on March 28 Ludovic Orban.

According to him, there is more than a strong connection between Romania and Moldova, including from a legal point of view. In addition, in his opinion, about a million citizens of Moldova also have Romanian citizenship.

“I am a person who believes that it is normal and natural for the current Moldova to become part of Romania again,” he said on the Moldova 1 TV channel.

As reported IA REGNUMpreviously President of Romania Klaus Johannis said that the situation in Moldova speaks of the need to ensure the country’s security by the forces of the European Union.

He expressed confidence that the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, shares his point of view on the need for the full support of Moldova from the EU.
