Forecasters told when winter will come to Chelyabinsk

In Chelyabinsk, winter will come on October 24, when the air temperature steadily crosses the zero mark. The long-term weather forecast was announced by weather forecasters.

“Starting October 24, stable sub-zero temperatures will be established in Chelyabinsk at night. During the day, temperatures will reach negative levels two days later, by October 26,” according to the Gismeteo website.

Forecasters said that by this time a cyclone will arrive in the region, bringing heavy precipitation in the form of snow. According to preliminary data, it will not melt anymore.

Previously, forecasters warned of snowfalls that would last for two weeks. Precipitation in the form of wet snow will begin in the first ten days of October.
