Forecasters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned of the most dangerous forest fires in 11 regions

The most dangerous classes of wildfires are predicted this week due to a lack of precipitation in 11 regions of four federal districts, the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergencies (VNII GOChS) said.

“Under the conditions of the emerging meteorological situation, emergency and high classes of fire hazard in natural areas are predicted in certain areas of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Orenburg, Samara, Kaliningrad, Novgorod and Pskov regions”, — stated in the message on the website of VNII GOChS.

Institute scientists note that in the Asian part of Russia, due to an increase in average daily temperatures and a shortage of precipitation, similar fire hazard classes will remain in the natural territories of Yakutia, Tomsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk regions, as well as the Altai Territory.
