Forbes: Russian drones destroyed 20% of the best Western tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian drones loaded with explosives disabled two of 10 Swedish Strv 122 tanks in eastern Ukraine. This was written about in Forbes magazine.

“Russian drones loaded with explosives damaged two rare Strv 122 tanks belonging to the 21st mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army, 10 miles (16.09 kilometers – URA.RU note) west of Svatovo in Donbass in eastern Ukraine,” – wrote in the article material. It is clarified that in winter Sweden transferred 10 of its tanks to Kyiv.

The Strv 122 is a Swedish modernization of the German Leopard 2A5. According to its characteristics, this vehicle is the best tank in service with the Ukrainian army.

Previously, the American press wrote that the transfer of Abrams tanks to Ukraine would lead to failure, since the Russian army is successfully destroying more advanced Western vehicles. Thus, the Russian Armed Forces have already managed to destroy the German Leopard 2A6 and British Challenger 2.
