Fly Dubai plane catches fire on takeoff from Kathmandu airport

A Fly Dubai plane caught fire while taking off from Kathmandu Airport in Nepal. Videos of the flaming side appeared on social networks.

Initially, the Ani agency wrote that the liner was trying to make an emergency landing. However, according to the Flightradar service, the aircraft still decided to continue the flight. This confirms and The Kathmandu Post.

The publication clarifies that the plane flying from Kathmandu to Dubai, shortly after takeoff, declared an emergency due to an engine problem, but later the pilots announced the decision to continue the flight after they checked all the indicators.
