Five dry cargo ships with agricultural products left the ports of Ukraine. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey in the social network. Three tankers set off from Chernomorsk, two from Yuzhny, follows from the message.
TASS cites data from the Joint Coordination Center (JCC), according to which the Propus dry cargo ship transports more than 9,000 tons of wheat to Romania, the Osprey tanker transports more than 11,000 tons of corn to southern Turkey, to Iskenderun, and the Ramus ship transports more than 6,000 tons of corn to the Turkish port of Karasu .
The ship Brave Commander with 23.3 thousand tons of wheat is heading to South African Djibouti, Bonita with 60 thousand tons of corn – to the port of the Republic of Korea.
On July 13, delegations from Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN held talks in Istanbul on Ukrainian grain. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to establish a coordination center for the export of grain in Istanbul. On July 22, two treaties were signed – the UN and Turkey concluded separate agreements with Russia and Ukraine. Their validity period is 120 days with the possibility of extension.
