Five countries call for UN Security Council meeting over Gaza


    China, France, the United Arab Emirates, Norway and Ireland are calling for a closed session of the UN Security Council against the backdrop of the situation around the Gaza Strip. This was reported on August 7 by the WAM news agency with reference to the UAE Foreign Ministry.

    The meeting of the UN Security Council may take place on August 8. It will discuss ways to achieve “a just and comprehensive world”.
