Russians are restricted to issuing visas
Finland has restricted the issuance of visas to citizens of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the Finnish broadcaster Yle, referring to the words of Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto.
“We have prepared a model in which fewer tourist visas will be issued. Priority will now be given to those who will be visiting the country for family reasons, or those who are working or studying,” Haavisto said. This decision was agreed with the EU.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that Denmark and Finland were ready to leave Russians without visas. Finland is also confident that the idea of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop issuing visas to Russian citizens could cause a split in the European Union, reported RT.
