Finland and Sweden have not yet met the conditions for joining NATO


Finland and Sweden have not yet fulfilled the conditions for Turkey’s veto over their NATO membership to be lifted. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Mevlut Cavusoglu.

“Finland and Sweden have not yet taken concrete steps on agreements with Turkey,” quoted by his agency “Anadolu”.

The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry added that the first meeting of the joint committee of the three states to discuss this issue is scheduled for August 26.
