In early July, the Department of Cinematography and Digital Development of the Ministry of Culture will be headed by producer and film critic Dmitry Davidenko. He will replace Svetlana Maksimchenko in this position, who is moving to another job, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the ministry. Ms. Maksimchenko has headed the department since August 2020.
Dmitry Davidenko graduated from the screenwriting and film studies department of VGIK. He worked for the TV channel “Russia” and in the film studio “Red Arrow”. Produced over 20 films and series.
