In 8 regions of Russia in 2022, a pilot launch of Family Multifunctional Centers will take place. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Labor.

Family MFCs will open in Volgograd, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Oryol, Tula and Chelyabinsk regions. The results of the pilot project will be summed up in November.

The task of family MFCs is to combine social resources in the region to provide comprehensive assistance to families with children, taking into account their life situation, said Olga Batalina, First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. In the “one window” mode, the family will receive assistance on a variety of problems, including diagnosing the situation, providing social services, and consulting various specialists – from a lawyer to a psychologist, she noted.

Marina Gordeeva, Chairman of the Board of the Children’s Support Fund, said that a specialist will be assigned to each family that applies for help. He will help draw up an individual program for the provision of social services and will deal with the family issue until it is fully resolved.

According to the deputy, in such MFCs, when applying, it will be possible to receive legal, psychological, targeted and other types of assistance in one place.
