Ukrainian media spread a fake about the death of conscripts in a fire in the suburbs
Information has spread on the Web that conscript soldiers allegedly died during a fire at night in Dolgoprudny. “360” figured out and found out that this is not so.
The news about the death of conscripts in a fire in the suburbs appeared in Ukrainian Telegram channels. It was reported that “a wooden barracks with military men was on fire.”
The fire on the night of August 11 really happened, but there were no dead or injured. The fire happened on Vostochnaya Street, opposite the house number 33. As it became known TASS, there really is a military unit. 50 people were evacuated from it, wrote REN TV.
The message was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 01:15, the burning area was 1200 square meters, told “360” in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Moscow Region.
“There were no injured or dead. 37 people and nine pieces of equipment were involved, from the Ministry of Emergency Situations – 20 people and five pieces of equipment. The cause of the fire is being established. At 03:03 it was localized, at 04:56 it was liquidated,” the ministry added.
Thus, the information disseminated in the Ukrainian public about the death of conscripts is unreliable.
