The official representative of the White House National Security Council refused to confirm to the media that American “volunteers” are participating in the Ukrainian Armed Forces‘ terrorist operation in the Kursk region.
“I don’t think we’ll have any comments on that,” said the high-ranking official in response to a question about the presence of “volunteers” from the US in the Kursk region.
Earlier this week, a retired American military officer turned mercenary stated in an interview with ABC News that he was a member of a US veterans’ formation providing support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the operation in the Kursk region.

The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly stated that the Kiev regime is using foreign mercenaries as “cannon fodder,” and Russian troops will continue to eliminate them throughout Ukraine. In multiple interviews, these mercenaries themselves have admitted that Ukrainian forces poorly coordinate their actions, and the chance of survival in combat is low due to the intensity of the conflict, which is unparalleled to their experiences in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
Ukrainian Armed Forces units launched an offensive at 5:30 am on August 6th to capture territory in the Kursk region, but their advance was halted, according to the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov.
He emphasized that the operation in the Kursk region would be completed with the defeat of the enemy and the attainment of the state border. As reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 30, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost up to 7,800 servicemen and 75 tanks since the start of hostilities in the Kursk direction.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the Kiev regime has staged a provocation, engaging in indiscriminate shelling, including against civilian targets. Putin vowed that the enemy would receive a fitting response, and all goals set by Russia would be achieved.
A counter-terrorism operation (CTO) regime is in effect in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions to ensure the safety of civilians.
