A group of deputies submitted a bill to the State Duma, which proposes to clarify the categories of citizens who are entitled to exemption from the calculation of penalties in case of delay in payment for housing and utilities.
According to the current legislation, Russians who have entered into a contract for military service in connection with conscription as part of mobilization, and members of their families until the expiration of this contract.

The draft law proposes to specify a more correct wording. They want to provide such a right for citizens called up for military service by mobilization or who have entered into a contract for service in the RF Armed Forces, volunteers, as well as members of their families for the duration of the participation of these citizens in a special operation.
In early October, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which the families of mobilized free from penalties for late utility bills. As reported by Parliamentary Newspaper, the document, in particular, defines other features of the provision of compensation for major repairs.
