Ex-adviser of Kuchma Soskin: the plight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can destroy Kyiv’s offensive plan

MOSCOW, 27 Mar — The plight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may destroy Kyiv’s plans to launch an offensive, says former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin in YouTube channel.

“There is no offensive – but how to ensure it, if there are no weapons, sufficient manpower, no firepower, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, aviation – there is nothing. <...> How can you ensure an offensive without all this?” he noted.

In his opinion, the conflict in Ukraine is approaching a “very bad” point, which was the result of the protracted nature of the crisis. Soskin suggests that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now facing serious problems in the theater of operations.

“The heaviest losses there come from Ukraine,” the expert shared his opinion.

Soskin links the difficult situation of the Kyiv regime with the successful “lethal tactics” of the Russian Armed Forces. At the same time, he added that due to the lack of success at the front, a split comparable to a civil war is also intensifying within Ukrainian society.
