European leaders have decided to work alongside United States to resolve Russia-Ukraine crisis. In an emergency meeting in London leaders emphasized the need to prevent further Russian aggression sustain economic pressure on Moscow and continue military aid to Ukraine.

Meeting called by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer attended by EU leaders top NATO officials and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The meeting comes amid recent tensions between Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as Washington’s diplomatic efforts to end the war. During the conference, European leaders proposed a four-point peace plan, which includes:
- Increasing economic pressure on Russia
- Providing continuous military support to Ukraine
- Ensuring European unity against Russian aggression
- Coordinating efforts with U.S. for a diplomatic resolution
European leaders stressed that Ukraine will no longer bow to Moscow and that any future Russian aggression will be resisted. A draft of the peace plan will be sent to Washington for further discussion.

To strengthen regional security and reduce reliance on U.S., European leaders agreed to increase defense spending. They also relaxed financial restrictions on military funding.
UK announced a $2 billion air defense missile package for Ukraine along with the development of short-range missiles that can launched from land air or sea.
UK is preparing a new £16 billion military aid package, allowing Ukraine to acquire over 5,000 air defense missiles. European nations are also expanding military production, focusing on land-based weaponry, although specific budget details remain undisclosed.

Following London summit Zelensky expressed willingness to discuss Ukraine’s natural resources with U.S. In an interview with BBC, he stated that if invited to White House, he would be open to negotiations but would reject any proposals that favor Putin.
