Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed Russia’s decision to resume flights. According to him, this decision was the result of diplomatic contacts and the work of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
“Our country is gradually leaving the travel restriction lists. We welcome the decision of Russia, taken after France, in this direction, ”said Mr Erdogan during his speech in Antalya (quoted by Anadolu).
