Erdogan discussed with Putin the use of Mir cards in Turkey

Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi discussed the use of cards of the Russian payment system “Mir” in Turkey. In this issue, as the head of the Turkish state noted, there is significant progress.

“Currently, our five banks continue to work on this. There are also serious progress here. This, of course, is a very comfortable process for tourists coming from Russia. With their help, they can make purchases and pay for hotel stays,” — Erdogan said in a conversation with reporters.

He also promised that his country would provide “every support” to anyone who wants to invest in Turkey and stressed that Ankara is absolutely open to a free market economy.
