Russian special operation in Ukraine

In Crimea and the Belgorod region, United Russia has launched new logistics centers where they will distribute humanitarian supplies to residents of the liberated regions of Ukraine. As Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, noted, the opening of the center is a continuation of the United Russia’s systemic assistance to residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics. This was reported in the official telegram channel of the party.

“After the start of the special operation, we organized this work through Rostov-on-Don, but since the geography of the liberated territories is expanding, United Russia is opening two more logistics centers – in the Belgorod region and in the Crimea, in Armyansk. The logistics center will redistribute cargo from the regional branches of the party. Food, water, building materials, and essentials will be delivered to United Russia’s mobile aid centers to be opened in the liberated territories. The party has already sent over 9,000 tons of humanitarian aid,” said Alexander Sidyakin, head of the United Russia Central Executive Committee.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, in turn, stressed that the opening of new logistics centers will allow the United Russia to respond to the problems that the leaders of the liberated territories are addressing. “They are asking for help. And from today it will be faster and better,” Gladkov concluded.

Russia had previously launched a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin called it a forced decision. According to the head of state, the purpose of the special operation is to protect the residents of Donbass. Putin said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) regularly staged punitive operations against the civilian population of Donbass. After the start of the special operation, the Russian army established control over the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as over Mariupol.
