Elon Musk criticized British Prime Minister Keir Starmer‘s comments on the riots in the UK, responding via his X account (formerly Twitter).
Keir Starmer referred to the ongoing events not as protests but as ordinary violence. He stated that the government would not tolerate attacks on mosques and Muslim communities.
Musk questioned whether Starmer should be concerned about attacks on all communities, not just specific ones.

The far-right protests in Britain gained momentum after three children were killed in a stabbing. Protests against the influx of migrants occurred in many cities. The first riots began after rumors spread that the attacker was a refugee, but it was later revealed that he was born in Wales to a family of Rwandan migrants.
Starmer addressed the nation on Sunday, stating that those involved in the riots would regret their actions. The Interior Ministry also announced urgent measures to protect mosques. Elon Musk suggested that a civil war in the country was inevitable due to the situation.
