Trump, who is running for president again, expressed his admiration for Musk in an interview with Reuters.
He hailed Musk as a “very smart guy” and noted that he would like to offer the billionaire a position as an adviser or cabinet member if he wins the election. Trump seemed eager to have Musk’s expertise in his administration.
Recently, Musk interviewed Trump on the Spaces platform on X (formerly known as Twitter), and in July, Musk publicly supported Trump in the upcoming presidential race.

The U.S. presidential election is set for November 5, with Trump being the Republican nominee. The Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, is expected to receive the formal nomination at the party’s convention in Chicago.
